Any external links you choose to follow from this site are followed at your own risk.
b. The Jesuit Schools Entrance Examination Board retains authority, to the exclusion of any other person or entity, to assign any other person or entity, to assign candidates who sat for the Joint Examinations to any of the Jesuit Schools for Interview even when the candidate did not select any of those schools as their first or second school of choice.
c. No third party has the authority to reassign a candidate to a different exam Centre after they have completed their application. Only the Jesuit Schools Entrance Examination Board can reassign an applicant to a different Exam Centre after registration. Such requests should be made in writing or via email to the Jesuit Schools Entrance Examination Board not later than three (3) weeks before the examination exercise. This will help effect the change and aid logistics.
d. Any candidate who did not fully complete his/her registration before the registration closing date shall not be allowed to sit for the exams. The Exam board reserves the right to invalidate a candidate who sits for the exams without completing registration.
e. Any candidate who, after an interview, is not accepted by any of the two schools of his/her choice can request, in writing or by email, to be invited for an interview in any of the other Jesuit Schools. The grant or refusal of such a request shall be at the discretion of the said school.
f. While we use the services of third-party vendors to process our registration, we expect them to adhere to strict privacy policy. We are not liable for any data breach or abuse of data collection on those third-party sites. None of our Schools shall be liable for any network glitches whatsoever arising from the use of internet facilities to access our schools’ website and payment portal for the enrolment fees.
g. Our question and answer materials before and after the exam remain the sole property of the Examination Board and will not be released at any given situation. The grades for each candidate who sat for the exams will not be released to them or to their parents/guardians and will be for the sole use and knowledge of the Jesuit Schools Entrance Examination Board and no candidate will under any circumstance request it from the Board either directly or through a representative or through the courts.
h. We do not encourage students planning to attend our Jesuit Schools to apply before their 10th birthday. The general recommendation for our Jesuit Schools is that students who plan to enter Basic 7 (JSS 1) are either 10 years or close to 11 years of age. The Jesuit Schools Entrance Examination Board reserves the right to forward or not the names of any underage candidates to the various Jesuits schools for interview or for consideration for Admission. While we ensure that our exam centers are secure, parents and guardians are also expected to ensure the safety of their wards through the course of the exams.
i. Each of our independent Jesuits schools (Loyola Jesuit College Abuja, Jesuit Memorial College Port Harcourt, Arrupe Jesuit College Abbi, Gonzaga Jesuit College Okija, and St. Francis Catholic Secondary School Idimu) reserves the sole right to admit or reject a candidate who passes the exams or interviews, or who may have paid the fees either in part or in full. The payment plan and rules may differ, but each plan and rule must be strictly adhered to. Where the school decides not to admit, the necessary refund shall be made accordingly.
